The League Football Association announces the general partnership tender winner for the first and second league. The winner is the betting company Chance that succeeded in the open tender by submitting the highest bid. The LFA and Chance will become partners for the next five seasons starting 1 July 2024.

Price was the only criterion in a two-round tender. The best offer was the one by the betting company Chance that is to become the general partner of both domestic professional leagues from 2024/25 season, and that will pay out more than a quarter of a billion Czech crowns annually to Czech professional football.

"I have to say that a second big tender of this season was also very successful, and I am pleased with the funds that Czech professional football will receive in the next seasons. I see the final amount, which was probably a pleasant surprise not only for me, as a confirmation of the fact that the connection with Czech professional football is currently very attractive and prestigious. At the same time, I take on a commitment not to be complacent and to continue with the course we have set. I am in no doubt that both we at the LFA and the clubs will use the funds to further advance Czech professional football, and to support the boom that is currently coming with it," said LFA President Dušan Svoboda.

Several serious bidders, both within and outside the betting sector, were involved in the tender process. The top three went through to the second round with Chance being the highest bidder.

"I would like to thank all the entities that expressed their serious interest and participated in the tender. It is great to see that such a number of major companies are willing to associate their name with Czech professional football that is experiencing a splendid period. We perceive this as a recognition of the work of professional clubs and the LFA itself," said Daniel Hajný, LFA Sales and Marketing Director.

"In the near future, we have some important steps to take towards the next season, including finalizing the tender for selected audiovisual rights concerning the foreign markets. Subsequently, we are fully concentrating on successful completion of the current season with our current general partner Fortuna," added Hajný.

Czech professional football has thus realised its second successful tender in a few months. Through the first one, it managed to earn more than CZK 430 million for selected audiovisual rights within the domestic market. Together with the tender for the general partnership, Czech professional football will be working with an amount exceeding CZK 690 million from 2024/25 season. In addition, tenders for the audiovisual rights for the foreign markets are still in the process of evaluation.
