The celebrations of the 30th anniversary season of the independent Czech league will reach its peak. On 27 June, the League Football Association in cooperation with the Sportbiz platform will hold a professional conference entitled 30 years of the football league at the Cargo Gallery in Prague. Representatives of the biggest Czech clubs as well as distinguished foreign guests will take the floor. The event will also include the announcement the Lukáš Přibyl Award for the most successful clubs in the marketing area.

The 30th anniversary season in the independent history of the Czech Republic was marked by significant events and progressive steps by the Football League Association. The General Assembly of the European leagues was held in Prague, which was attended by important officials including the president of the Spanish La Liga Javier Tebas, for the first time in history the domestic top competition was played with a uniform SELECT ball, the culture and conditions for fans in stadiums were shifted or a functional league fan shop was introduced.

Now the Czech League Football Association has decided to symbolically end the 2022/23 season in the unique Cargo Gallery on Prague's Náplavka river side with a conference called 30 years of the Football League, whose main topics will be the development and direction of marketing and PR in domestic professional competitions or the future and use of modern technologies in working with fans.

"We want to show the conference guests how the Czech football has changed and moved in 30 years, especially in terms of marketing, PR and fan engagement. We believe that the information that will be presented will not only be interesting, but also can be an inspiration for further work for all hosts. Our aim is also to show how the League Football Association works with clubs to progress within Czech football," described Daniel Hajný, LFA Marketing and Sales Director.

The afternoon conference programme will consist of two parts, Czech and international. In the foreign one, which will focus on the future and the use of modern technology in working with fans, a duo of distinguished guests will speak. Alejandro Scannapieco, CEO of LaLiga Tech, and Kirsten Willem, Director of Communications at Club Brugge. Both of the them will then take part in a panel discussion in which conference attendees will have the opportunity to come up with their own questions.

"It is a great pleasure for us that such dear guests have accepted our invitation to come to Prague to speak at the our conference. It shows that the Czech league has a significant place in European and world football, which we have managed to strengthen thanks to the successful meeting of representatives of the European Leagues we hosted in May," said Daniel Hajný.

Daniel Hajný will be one of the speakers in the block dedicated to Czech competitions. He will be joined by Kamil Veselý, Marketing Director of AC Sparta Praha, Michal Býček, Marketing and PR Director of SK Slavia Praha, and Jaromír Hamouz, Sales and Marketing Manager of FC Viktoria Plzeň.

In addition to the afternoon conference, there will also be a closed workshop in the morning, which is intended for marketing and PR staff of individual clubs. The LFA regularly organises a similar workshop at least once a year. During this part, knowledge and ideas will be exchanged on where marketing and communication should go in the future.

During the event, the Lukáš Pribyl Award will also be announced, during which the clubs that performed the best in marketing, PR and fan engagement in the 2022/23 season will be awarded. The traditional award comes with one new category this year, where the clubs that have worked best with away supporters will be recognised for their contribution to improving football culture overall.
