The member clubs of the League Football Association decided to massively express their support for the Ukrainian people. In the immediate aftermath of the start of the war in Ukraine, auctions of unique items, collections of financial and material aid within the club and amongst fans, and other campaigns were launched, often going beyond the boundaries of sport. The common goal of all charity projects is to help in times of need, whether the people of Ukraine had to stay in their homes or decided to flee to the Czech Republic to escape the war. Czech professional football has thus once again shown its strength and the positive impact it has on more than just Czech society.

Activities of the LFA Member Clubs

1. FC Slovácko

Fans of Slovácko put up a banner on their stand at the league match with the sign "Freedom to Ukraine". The supporters chanted "Glory, glory to Ukraine".


1. SK Prostějov

The second league club from Haná joined the collection to help the victims of the war conflict in Ukraine and bought 30 sleeping bags. On Friday, the players themselves showed their solidarity during the TV match with Zbrojovka Brno in the opening round of the spring part of the competition.

AC Sparta Praha

Sparta is donating all the profit from its T-mobile Match of Dreams Come True event, in which fan teams led by club legends Jan Koller and Vratislav Lokvenc will clash to support Ukraine.


During the home league match against Zlín, Sparta supported large charity organizations by projecting their transparent account numbers on the LED advertising panels around the pitch.

Sparta also continues its social responsibility outside the matches and has prepared a unique 24-hour stream called 24 Hours for Ukraine, full of live interviews with active players, club legends and influencers. With the help of Sparta fans who donate an electronic ticket to watch the stream, the club will then use the money raised to help specific people in Ukraine.

Bohemians Praha 1905

The Prague Bohemians are also actively supporting Ukraine, holding several auctions and fundraisers within the club and among fans.

FC Baník Ostrava

Baník offers accommodation to young footballers from the Ukrainian partner club Ruch Lviv. Through its Academy, the club has already approached the sports director of the Ruch Lviv Academy, Sergiy Zaitsev, and interpreted the offer to him.

Baník in cooperation with the Baník to Baník fan association has also organized a financial and material collection for Ukraine, which took place directly at the stadium during the match against Liberec. Players and employees of the club are also participated in the financial collection.

FC FASTAV Zlín

During the home match against Plzeň, the Zlín team has prepared help for people fleeing Ukraine who found refuge in the Zlín region.

The club has also organized a material help at the Letná stadium in Zlín. The collected items will go to the affected people in several waves - through the long-standing cooperation with the charitable organization KORUNKA LUHAČOVICE, through which specific families, individuals or entire groups from Ukraine will be approached. Some of the items will be prepared for refugees who will be heading to hostels in the Zlín region in the coming days. Up to a hundred mothers with children are expected to arrive at this time.

FC Hradec Králové

The club from Hradec created a simple link bit.ly/help-ukr pointing to a signpost with charities. The address has not only appeared on the big screen, but in agreement with the Slavia club, it was also inserted into all social media posts and the QR codes were posted in the stadium.


The club has already registered over 3,000 visits to the link. As a symbolic support, Hradec also started the match with a minute of applause.

FC Slovan Liberec

The first match after the outbreak of the war conflict in Ukraine was the Podještěd derby, which Slovan started with a minute of silence.


The boiler room fans themselves organized a collection of material aid and the Liberec club participated in the Liberec for Ukraine charity concert.


Liberec also organized a charity auction of original jerseys from the autumn season and offered Ukrainians free tickets to their league matches.

FC Viktoria Plzeň

Plzeň played the final match of the round on Saturday in their classic jerseys, which were accompanied by a prominent message "NO WAR PLEASE" in the place usually reserved for sponsors. The Victorians will wear the same jerseys for their next league matches. Members of the management team accompanied the players symbolically with yellow and blue ribbons and the supporters prepared a big banner "stop the war in Ukraine".


At the start of Saturday's match against Pardubice, both starting elevens wore "Freedom for Ukraine" shirts. The home team blue, the away team yellow, the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The sign also appeared on both light boards in the Doosan Arena.

FC Zbrojovka Brno

When the players of Zbrojovka came out before the first match of the spring round, they wore yellow shirts in support of the invaded Ukraine. Together with their opponent from Prostějov, they wore blue shirts and expressed their support with a joint photo.


In addition to the joint collection of fans and material help from players, the Brno club also supported former players and friends from Karpaty Lviv.

FK Dukla Praha

Dukla has called on its fans to make financial contributions to a public collection through the mouth of one of the Ukrainian players in the Prague club's colours. A video with the appeal appeared on the club's social media and on the big screen during the first spring league match.

FK Mladá Boleslav

The Central Bohemian Club supports the public collection of the Statutory City of Mladá Boleslav "In aid of Ukraine" and the employee collection of the KOVO MB Trade Union, with the support of Škoda Auto a.s. The funds raised will be used to purchase humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine who are affected by the current war conflict.


During the home game against Karviná, fans were invited to participate in both fundraisers and the club expressed their support with a symbolic minute of applause and ribbons carried by members of the management team.

FK Pardubice

Together with the home team Plzeň, the Easterners also had special shirts made for the match, so both starting elevens wore shirts with the slogan "Freedom for Ukraine" while entering the pitch.


FK Teplice

The Teplice club joined the calls to support Ukraine in the league match in Olomouc, where the team captain symbolically put on the blue and yellow captain's armband.


The club colours and the flag of Ukraine also appear on the club website and online platforms. During the next league home game against Slovácko, the club has already organized several events, including a fundraiser in cooperation with the main shareholder AGC or a material collection. FK Ústí nad Labem

The North Bohemian club expressed its support for Ukraine and invited fans to donate to the fundraiser. During the first spring league match, the F:NL participant will honour Ukraine with a minute of applause and blue and yellow symbols.


The players came out with the Ukrainian flag on their jerseys and expressed their support not only for the whole Ukraine, but also for the three Ukrainian Army players, who are supported by the whole club and the whole cabin in this unpleasant event.

MFK Karviná

Karviná in cooperation with the organizations LODIČKY DOKOŘÁN and Slivkafé Karviná organises a collection of material aid for Ukraine.


The complete collection was handed over during the Benefit Concert for Ukraine in the Lodičky area in Božena Němcová Park in Karviná.

SK Dynamo České Budějovice

South Bohemians also supported Ukraine, mainly in a symbolic way. Among other things, they expressed their attitude with a ceremony with the Ukrainian flag before the match.


Throughout the match, a special timekeeper graphic was displayed on the LED screen in the stadium.

SK Sigma Olomouc

Sigma players expressed their support for Ukraine in the first possible league round right on the pitch before the match with Teplice.


In the following home league match against Bohemians, Sigma decided to organize a fundraiser in cooperation with the regional Czech Red Cross. The money raised will go to purchase medical supplies for Ukraine through the Czech Red Cross.

SK Slavia Praha

After an emotional evening during the Europa League rematch, in which Slavia symbolically highlighted the brave fight of Ukrainians for their homeland, the Prague club came up with a number of other charity campaigns. A symbolic cheque in support of Ukraine will be handed over to the representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy by the A-team players, the club management and the Friends' Union before the 302nd Prague "S" derby. The money raised will be distributed among charitable organizations and used to help Ukrainians who are currently staying at the Slavia Hotel. At the moment, almost a hundred people are accommodated there, mainly mothers with children, and in addition to full board accommodation, the children are also provided with lessons at the local primary school and a sports club.


In cooperation with the municipality of Prague 20, Slavia also provided additional accommodation within the training centre in Xaverov.

Slezský FC Opava

The Silesian Club publicly expressed its support and strength to all Ukrainians and prepared several charity events. In cooperation with the Ostrava-Opava Diocesan Charity, the Opava members decided to offer accommodation to refugees from Ukraine. The club's partners also joined in the relief effort and the club also invited fans to donate to the transparent account of the Charity of the Czech Republic, which collects funds to provide basic needs such as water, food, hygiene supplies and shelter.
