The League Football Association would like to thank all the rescuers, doctors, nurses and other dedicated front-line workers who have helped to cope with the whole epidemiological situation in Czech country. Thanks to their dedicated commitment, both top competitions can be fully resumed last week - as one of the first in Europe. On the day of the restart of professional football in the Czech Republic, the League Football Association came up with the campaign “Hrajeme! Also thanks to you” (We play! Also, thanks top you).

"The resumption of professional football competitions can be an important signal to society as a whole that our lives are slowly returning to normal. We owe a big thank you to all the rescuers and medical staff for their dedicated approach, and thanks to our campaign we can thank them together with football fans, at least at a distance. Of course, we would like them to hear a loud applause in full stadiums, but this will certainly happen as soon as the situation allows us to do so,” said Dusan Svoboda, the chairman of the LFA, at the start of the campaign. During the fight against coronavirus, a number of stories took place, which have their specific heroes in the ranks of health professionals.

In the coming weeks, fans can share their experiences or stories and the League Football Association will publish the most interesting ones on the website www.hrajemeidikyvam.cz. "We want to encourage fans to send us real stories, in which they would like to thank specific healthcare professionals at least remotely online," said LFA Marketing and Sales Director Daniel Hajny, adding that the LFA will then bring the best stories from the online world into real thanks, as soon as the situation before the matches in the league stadiums allows.

Apart from the the LFA, all professional clubs will take part in the campaign. "We really appreciate the involvement of all clubs and we perceive it so that we can all thank the health professionals together across FORTUNA:LEAGUE and FORTUNA:NATIONAL LEAGUE. Already during the pandemic itself, professional football behaved very responsibly, many clubs contributed either financially or in another form, and with this campaign the social responsibility of Czech professional football is now graduating,“ described Daniel Hajny.

The visuals will be encountered by fans at TV screens, they will be seen in stadiums, but the biggest impact will come from the campaign in the online space. "Given the current situation, online communication of a similar project is logically the most effective solution. We have produced a video clip, in which, in addition to the players of both league competitions, football legends and celebrities across the country also took part. It showed us again how big the football has an overlap in the whole society. Although all the actors in the clip have their relationship to football and selected clubs, we were pleased with their willingness to participate in a joint thank you," said Stepan Hanus, Director of Communications and PR of the LFA. There are few quotes of football legend like Tomas Rosicky, Lukas Masopust, Borek Dockal or Tomas Hübschman in the video clip.
